CETACT® sockets for low voltage industrial facilities are designed in accordance with the standards UNE-EN 60309-1 and UNE-EN 60309-2.
The CETACT® range comes in 2P+T, 3P+T, 3P+N+T, and in surface (wall base), panel mounting (semi flush base), connector base, extension and pin versions.
The manufacturing process allows the immediate delivery of any timetable, both 6 hours and the rest of the positions indicated insi
Attention must be drawn to the properties of the technical polymers used in the manufacture of the insulating pieces for the CETACT® system which result in:
• Appropriate resistance to abnormal heat and fire. Passing the 850° C glow wire test for extinguishing flames (UNE EN 60695-2-1).
• Excellent dielectric and insulating properties.
• Highly stable when faced with heat.
• Great mechanical resistance.
• Increased resistance to chemical and atmospheric agents.
• Increased resistance to U.V. radiation.
The CETACT® system achieves two important aims: reliability of service and safety for the user. Thanks to the properties of the materials used and the great mechanical stability of the base-pin coupling, the product is reliable and provides continuity of service. The respect shown for the specifications set out in the standards implies safety given that:
• EIt is impossible to couple bases and pins unless all of their nominal characteristics coincide: Intensity, voltage, number of contacts and frequency.
• All of them have an earth which connects before and disconnects after the live contacts.
• They come with mechanical interlocking. Models 63 and 125A also have an auxiliary terminal for optional electrical interlocking. (On request)
• The mobile accessories have cable holder clamps to ensure that the conductors are held perfectly in place.
As indicated at the start, the combination of the different nominal characteristics ** provides a wide range of more than 300 different products, as can be seen from the attached table (pages 324 and 325).
The properties outlined here and the wide range of products make CETACT® products appropriate for industry in general but also for use in specialist areas such as agricultural facilities, shipyards, warehouses, construction sites and laboratories.
