The switching mechanisms are supplied with contacts made of only the purest silver (900/1.000). Welded, one by one, in sheets of hard brass, etched and treated to obtain an excellent degree of conservation and level of features, both electrical and mechanical.
According to REGULATION UNE EN-60669-1

All the keys in the series include PVC shock absorbers that balance over the key holder, cast in nylon, achieving an inimitable, silent and soft touch in action.

All the bases have lodging pins from the IBIZA series and comply with REGULATION UNE 20-315; passing, among others, the test of dielectric rigidity (tension of 2,000 V50 Hz over 1 minute); as well as VDE 0620 for lateral earthing terminal.
The singular design of the pin lodgings provides constant pressure and a perfect contact surface, as well as an effective recovery, whether using Ø 4 mm or Ø 4.8 mm pins, making it convenient to plug in and unplug.
Operational guarantee
The BJC laboratories rigorously maintain a precise and exhaustive quality control that guarantees constant compliance with regulations, both in the production phases and the finished products.

All the switching mechanisms and bases in the IBIZA series have the STAI connection system (Open Safety Screw System), exclusive to BJC. The screws are already open and ready to be closed with a single manoeuvre, while a safety notch keeps them from exiting and getting lost.
The connection is carried out by means of a double connection input, with screws and an engraved floating screw, which keeps the cable from sliding, guaranteeing perfect adhesion and a complete contact surface.
The exterior insulating pieces, standard in the IBIZA and Mar IBIZA series, are cast exclusively with high quality thermo-setting self-extinguishable resins.
They comply with REGULATION UNE-EN 60695-2-1, at a maximum degree of severity (incandescent thread test at 960ºC).
They show an excellent resistance, both mechanical and to the effects of ultraviolet rays.
