High breakage capacity
The switch mechanisms are provided with silver contacts of the utmost purity (900/1.000). Welded one-by-one on sheets of hard brass stripped and treated to provide good preservation and both electrical and mechanical performance. According to UNE EN-60669-1
All of the Switches of the series include PVC dampers that rock on the switch holder. Moulded in polyamide, these give an inimitable, silent and soft action.
Safety and efficiency
All of the alveolar holder bases of the IBIZA series meet the UNE 20-315 standard and pass tests including the dialectic rigidity test (voltage of 2,000 V 50 Hz for 1 minute), and the VDE 0620 by the side T.T. The singular design of the alveoli provides constant pressure and a perfect contact surface as well as effective recovery in the use of pins with both Ø 4 mm and Ø 4.8 mm spigots, giving comfortable connection and disconnection.
BJC rigorously maintains precise and exhaustive quality control in the production phases and in the finished products that guarantees constant compliance with the standards.
High connection safety and speed (STAI system)
All IBIZA switch mechanisms and bases are provided with the exclusive BJC STAI open safety screw system connection. The screws are already open and ready to be closed with a single gesture, while a safety notch prevents their release and loss. The connection is made via a double connection entry by screws and engraved floating nut which prevents the cable from slipping and guarantees perfect fixture across the whole of the contact surface.
